GYM MEMBERSHIPS

How much is the membership fee and what is the starting rate for personal training?

We do not have any membership fees; we offer one on one personal training sessions starting at £82 per hour. The total cost of a personal programme depends on the duration of your programme and how often you would like to train.

What are your packages and what's included in them?

We are an award-winning fitness business specialising in body transformation programmes that deliver rapid results.

Our 8 and 12 week programmes are designed to deliver the most significant results in a short space of time and educate on the best ways to train and look after yourself for the rest of your life.

Our 8 & 12 week programmes include:

  • Nutritional assessment including a body composition test
  • Full movement screening by our in-house Sports Therapist
  • 23 or 35 x personal training sessions (depending on 8 or 12 week programme length)
  • Bespoke nutritional guidance from our certified nutritionists
  • 3 times a week personal training with elite level coach
  • Body composition retests every 3 weeks to monitor results

How does it work? Can I just come in and pay straight away?

The first step is to book in for a complimentary consultation, this is an opportunity for you to see our facility first-hand and discuss your goals with one of our experts.

During/ after the consultation you will be able to sign up and pay for your programme to get started should you wish to. The next step will be to get you booked in for your nutrition assessment and movement screening (1-hour duration). The results from this assessment will be used to design a bespoke training programme to help you achieve your goals, we will also then allocate you to your personal trainer. Your first training session will be booked in between a period of 24 - 48 hours after your assessment.

What are the terms of payment?

All of our body transformation programmes can be paid either upfront or in monthly installments. We accept cash and all major visa/ credit cards.

If I want to try your gym, can I have a trial/day pass? (Paid or complementary)

We do not offer day passes, however if you are interested in a paid trial session we can arrange this for you when you come in for your free consultation. You may be required to take our Movement Screening ahead of training.

PERSONAL TRAINING

What do I look for in a personal trainer?

A personal trainer should keep you fully accountable for achieving your own health and fitness goals. They need to be able to motivate, guide, and educate you about how you can reach peak physical fitness by using tried and tested methods. A fitness coach should constantly work to develop their own knowledge of the industry and always stay up to date with new research and discoveries.

What is the difference between a weight loss coach and a personal trainer?

A weight loss coach specialises in one aspect of health and fitness, whereas a personal trainer focuses on an all-inclusive, holistic approach.

A personal trainer will be by your side throughout every step of your fitness journey, helping you overcome whatever barriers get in the way of your wellness goals, both inside and outside the gym. It’s important that the two of you develop a relationship of trust where all aspects of health and fitness are addressed and solved, together as a team.

Is it possible to practice at home with one of Embody's personal trainers?

All of our personal training sessions take place in our facility to ensure that you get the most out of your programme. We have an Olympic-standard gym that features state-of-the-art equipment, plus changing rooms and showers with a selection of complimentary amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels.

If I sign up for a person training programme, can I still use the gym on my non-training days to do some cardio or other workouts?

No, our gym is just for personal training sessions. Your personal trainer will give you advice on how you can add extra cardio into your routine on the days you spend away from the gym.

Can a man have a female personal trainer?

Yes - a man can train with a female personal trainer subject to availability. All of our personal trainers are qualified to design bespoke training programmes for all ages and genders.

Can I choose my own personal trainer from your team?

Yes - but again this is subject to their availability.

Rest assured, our team is formed of the world’s best athletes, performance coaches and body transformation specialists. Each of them is an expert in their respective field, and they can provide you with the very best advice and guidance.

How do I choose the right personal trainer for me?

First, define your goals. Have a think about what you want to change about your body and lifestyle. Whilst all of our trainers have the ability to train all ages and genders, they do have different specialties and experience. It might just be that your goal matches one person’s experience exactly.

Then, with that in mind come in for a free consultation with one of our lead trainers - they will be able to talk to you more about your choice and goals and match you to someone they know will suit your needs.

Finally, it’s important to meet your potential trainer before you commit. Book a free consultation with your preferred choice to help you to get to know them and confirm they’re the right fit for you.

What happens if I don’t use all of my sessions in the eight or 12-week period?

All of our sessions have a 12-month expiry period unless stated otherwise. If you need to go on holiday, or take time off due to work or illness, you will be able to pick up from where you left off in your programme at a later date.

How long are your body transformation programmes?

We offer eight and 12-week body transformation programmes that will help you achieve rapid fat loss, gain confidence and create a body and life you love. These are holistic plans that include various specialists, as well as nutritional guidance to get you to where you need to be. All are designed to be sustainable and educational, and help you to achieve your goals.

Can I just have nutrition guidance without personal training?

Yes, you are able to just have nutrition appointments with our team. A nutrition programme would include an initial assessment, body composition testing and a bespoke nutritional meal plan from one of our certified nutritionists.

Is a personal trainer worth it for weight loss?

If you want to give yourself the best chance of losing a significant amount of weight in a safe and professional environment then yes, it is definitely worth it. Our personal trainers are expertly qualified and will help you every step of the way. All our clients also work closely with a dedicated Embody nutritionist to help achieve optimal weight loss in a period of just eight to 12 weeks.

What are the opening hours for Embody Fitness London?

Our facilities are open from Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM – 9 PM and on Saturday mornings from 8 am - 1 pm.

Can I train by myself if I don't want a personal trainer?

No, unfortunately not. We are a personal training facility – clients are not able to use the gym to train on their own.

Where are you located?

We are located a two minute walk away from Bank Station, on the corner of Bartholomew Lane and Throgmorton Street. Moorgate, Cannon Street, St Pauls and Liverpool Street are also within short walking distance.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdom is our country of domicile.

Minors under the age of 18 shall are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.

If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.

The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

www.embodyfitness.co.uk will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.

Embody Fitness Terms and Conditions

FITNESS AND HEALTH

The Client is responsible for making sure he/she is in good physical condition at each visit and that the Client knows of no medical or other condition why the Client is not capable of exercising at the facility. Neither Embody Fitness staff nor any staff members or representatives are medically trained and are therefore not qualified to assess whether the Client is in good physical condition and/or that the Client can engage in any exercise without detriment to the Client’s health, safety, comfort or physical condition. Embody Fitness and the Personal Trainer/Therapist reserves the right to refuse access to any client if they consider that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by the use of the facilities. Clients shall not use Embody Fitness’s facilities nor engage with a Personal Trainer/Therapist if they are suffering from any medical conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled session shall be charged at the full rate.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Personal belongings brought into the Facilities shall at all times remain at the Client’s risk including any personal belongings stored in lockers provided by Embody Fitness. The Client accepts and agrees that neither Embody Fitness nor its employees or representatives shall be liable for any loss, damage or theft of any property belonging to, or brought onto or left outside any Embody Fitness premises by the Client or any guest of the Client.

GENERAL

Intellectual Property: The Client agrees to having their photographs taken whilst at Embody Fitness facilities. Any data, information and copyright in any photographic or other images taken by Embody Fitness or on its behalf of the Client or relating to the Client whilst training in the Facilities shall belong to Embody Fitness absolutely and can be used for promotion, marketing and commercial exploitation of the Facilities in such form as Embody Fitness shall require from time to time. The Client agrees to having their photograph taken.

PAYMENTS

Payment for programmes and membership shall be made in full upon purchase and prior to the commencement of any programme. Any monthly payments for programmes or personal training blocks must be provided by authorised advanced credit card payment or post-dated cheques. Any failed or rejected payments shall incur an administrative fee of AED500 and services shall be suspended until payment has been made.

NO RIGHT TO CANCEL

Payments for programmes and blocks of sessions are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. If a client chooses to cancel this agreement, they will remain liable to pay the balance of any unpaid instalments at the date of cancellation. No refunds will be provided for any unused sessions.


VALIDITY OF SERVICES

Each programme or training block is valid for up to 6 months from the date of this Agreement. Any unused sessions at that point shall be forfeited and there is no right of refund.
