Our private space has significantly less footfall than a standard gym, meaning that you can always have peace of mind that you are training in a safe, clean and uncrowded environment.
The wellbeing of our clients and staff is paramount to us, so to help maintain social distancing and safety we have implemented some changes at the gym. Any restrictions we have had to put in place are temporary and will be kept in line and up-to-date with the current government guidelines.
SOCIAL DISTANCING METHODS IN PLACE
To ensure we meet government guidelines capacity in our 1,800 sq ft gym has been reduced to a maximum of 6 clients at any time.
Staggered start times will be in place, limited to a maximum of three clients starting every 30 minutes.
Direction of flow will be clearly marked throughout the gym and equipment has been moved to create more space.
Clients are strongly advised to arrive in gym kit wherever possible as changing room capacity will be limited to two clients at any one time - it would be preferable if these were avoided wherever possible.
All sessions will be pre-booked, no walk-ins will be allowed into the premises.
HYGIENE & CLEANING PROTOCOLS
Clients are strongly recommended to arrive in gym kit wherever possible.
Towels will no longer be provided. If you require a hand or bath towel please bring your own.
Water will still be provided but you will be required to bring your own water bottle - we are not allowed to provide cups as per current regulations. Reusable water bottles are for sale at the reception area should you wish to buy one.
Hand sanitiser will be readily available throughout the premises - please sanitise your hands before entering the gym.
We will be carrying out a deep clean of the premises each night alongside disinfecting all common areas and equipment.
Cash will no longer be accepted on site.
All touch points of equipment will be cleaned after use, including dumbbells, bars, mats and benches. No equipment will be shared during sessions.
HEALTH & SCREENING
Contactless temperature checks will be taken for all staff and clients entering the gym. Anyone displaying a temperature of 38 or above will not be able to enter the premises.
Anyone displaying flu-like symptoms will need to stay away from the gym for at least 7 days, unless they pass a COVID-19 test.
Trainers will have the right to refuse entry to anyone displaying flu-like symptoms.
The late cancellation fee will be waived for anyone needing to cancel due to displaying flu-like symptoms. Clients will be asked not to return to the gym for 7 days or earlier if able to provide a negative COVID-19 test result.
Clients are asked to alert the management team if they test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of their last visit. We will work with the relevant authorities to help ensure track and trace is activated in such scenarios.
Personal Trainers will wear masks on the gym floor and in appointments.
Masks are not mandatory for clients but will be available on site if desired
We do not advise clients or staff to wear gloves in their sessions as the World Health Organisation's advice is that it is preferable not to wear gloves but to regularly wash your hands.
